Pymble Ladies’ College in Sydney, NSW are creating a culture of kindness with our whole-school friendship strategy.

With KINDNESS as our theme this month, we want to celebrate Pymble Ladies’ College who wrap around the theme of kindness all year long.

Thank you to Kate Brown, Head of Junior School, from Pymble Ladies’ College – one of Australia’s leading girls’ schools – for sharing these beautiful words with us. We’ve loved working with Pymble over the years and their focus on kindness & friendship radiates throughout their campus. Ms Brown even has a giant pink letterbox where she encourages students to write to her about the kind acts they witness in their friends. The words, “BE KIND” can be found throughout their school.

It’s been incredible to see the girls, year-after-year, become even more fluent in our ‘language of friendship’. During my last visit to their school in early 2024, Ms Brown was excited to tell me about the incredible impact our FRIENDOLOGY friendship skills curriculum continues to have. My favourite anecdote was that parents have actually requested that new families get “training” in our language & strategies so that they’re up-to-speed on our whole-school friendship strategy! 👌

And, congratulations to Kate Giles, Head of Wellbeing, who shared the amazing work they’re doing at the International Coalition of Girls’ Schools conference in Baltimore, USA this year. We love seeing our URSTRONG Schools on a global stage, sharing how they’re changing the face of Education with relationships at the heart of everything they do! 💗
