Prior to URSTRONG, Michael was President and CEO of ECO Canada (Environmental Careers Organization). With a genuine passion for employee wellbeing and engagement, Michael’s leadership centres on creating a positive and innovative corporate culture.
Motivated to create global change, Michael shifted his focus to future leaders by establishing a first-of-its-kind business model to empower kids with friendship skills. URSTRONG’s whole-school friendship strategy has now reached over 1 million kids, parents, & teachers.
Michael is an invited Member of the UNESCO MGIEP (Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development) Global Collective on SEL. Along with other experts & leaders in education, Michael offers insights from our experience working with schools around the world.
URSTRONG’s ground-breaking approach in wellbeing education, led to Michael’s participation in an exclusive conference on gender equality at the White House in 2016. He has led large-scale partnerships with communities, education networks, and school districts and has supported countless organisations in their development and growth.
Michal is a dad, a social entrepreneur at heart, and is committed to contributing to initiatives that produce substantive positive change for kids, families and communities.
