URSTRONG launches a Virtual Classroom for Kids Around the Globe
During this uneasy time, our primary goal is: Keeping Kids Connected. Research shows us that social connection is the most powerful antidote to stress and anxiety. We are committed to helping bring a sense of belonging, friendship, and positivity to kids around the globe.
We are working hard to support our URSTRONG Schools and Families and, as was announced last week, have offered free lifetime URSTRONG Family membership to parents. We were overwhelmed to have hundreds of parents sign-up within the first few hours. We hope to provide comfort and support to kids, parents, and teachers as they move to home-based learning.
To access your complimentary membership, please visit here.
In addition, we are very excited to announce that we have launched our virtual URSTRONG Classroom, designed to provide free friendship lessons directly to kids. These classes will ensure that kids stay connected to other children while providing parents and teachers with a well-deserved break. All of the classes can be found here and below are some of the initial sessions:
- Friendship Mapping (March 25)
- Friendship Goals (March 27)
- We’re all Potatoes at Heart (March 30)
- Kind-on-Purpose (April 1)
- Forgiveness (April 3)
We’ve also been working with a number of URSTRONG Schools to deliver our Language of Friendship (parent-child) and Day of Friendship (student) workshops online. These interactive, one-hour workshops, adapted from our face-to-face events, are designed to keep school communities together in the months ahead. Based on demand, these workshops will be exclusive to URSTRONG Schools.
We are committed to the social-emotional wellbeing of children. Knowing that relationships are the heart of wellbeing, we hope to see lots of kids (and their friends) in our URSTRONG Classroom soon. If you have any questions or want to learn more, don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at: michael@urstrong.com.
We’re here to help.
