At URSTRONG, we look at social-emotional wellbeing through the lens of friendship. This month, we’re shining the light on the power of GRATITUDE in friendships.

Experiencing gratitude, a deep sense of appreciation, is one of the best ways to boost wellbeing. Helping children learn to express & share their gratitude for their friends helps them to feel good, while strengthening their friendships too.

Whether you are a teacher or a parent, enjoy our GRATITUDE Freebie – a fun colouring-in sheet to anchor a conversation about the power of gratitude. Ask your child to think of a special friend and list all the reasons they’re grateful for that friend. Help them focus on the many “gifts” their friend brings to their life. Encourage them to thank their friend and ask, “How can you show your friend how much they mean to you?”

Let us know how it goes by tagging us on social media or reaching out directly at info@urstrong.com.
