As Dr Seuss says, “Today you are you. That is truer than true. There is no one alive who is YOUer than YOU!”
In order for students to create and maintain healthy friendships, strengthen their self-awareness and self-worth, it is important that they can reflect positively about who they are in the world and be kind to themselves. Happy, healthy friendships form when children are authentic and kind – to both themselves and others.
This lesson is designed to help students embrace their identity, reflect positively on their personal qualities, and feel good about who they are.
