Dr Debra Perich is the Wellbeing Consultant for Catholic Education in Western Australia.
As the former Director of InsideOut at Perth College, Deb created and led this sequential self-leadership program; part of Perth College’s Centre of Excellence for Women. Reflecting growth from inner development to outer excellence, the program equips young girls with the ability to lead themselves and help them to cope with future challenges, be more resilient, become stronger and more capable, and to make a difference in society. Through Deb’s leadership, Perth College and InsideOut are trailblazers in Positive Education.
Deb regularly speaks at Positive Education Conferences around Australia and has designed and hosted conferences and leadership events for students, educators, and parents. As the Wellbeing Consultant for Catholic Education, Deb now supports schools in best practices around impelmentation and embedding whole-school wellbeing initiatives.
Deb has been teaching in the area of Health and Physical Education for over 20 years and has extensively researched Leadership, Health and Wellbeing. Deb holds a PhD centred on a multi-disciplinary intervention program in schoolgirl rowers.
As a Licensed URSTRONG Presenter and mum to Ella, Deb facilitates URSTRONG workshops across Australia.
